Talus Wall System...ANA A New Approach
Talus is an efficient way to achieve a professionally installed Ledgestone veneer.
Each Talus unit has architectural pre-cast stones molded to a glass fiber reinforced concrete backer. The backer and stones are simultaneously cured to form a monalithic unit. The backer also contains additional steel reinforcement. The extra reinforcement give Talus the ability to be cut without chipping or cracking.
Then, by our unique patent pending design the units can be screwed or nailed over the sheathing, attached to the studs, directly on top of the house wrap. Stones are strategically left out to allow an area for fastners. Once Talus is attached to the wall, loose stones are mortared into place to conceal the joints and the fastners.
The result is the appearance of a wall created by skilled artisans for a fraction of the cost and one third of the time.
